BREAKING NEWS: SCHAUB IS OUT AND LEINART IS IN FOR THE TEXANS
By Rock Mayock 10:00PM There is shocking news coming out of Houston that can be interpreted as distressing or euphoric depending upon your point of view. The distressing news for all of you fantasy football geeks is that Texans starting quarterback Matt Schaub has been declared out for the remainder of the season due to a Lisfranc injury to an undisclosed foot (it could be either the left or the right). The euphoric news for those of us with man crushes is that the table has been set for Heisman Matt Leinart to assume the starter role as the Texans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 27.

REVIEWING PEYTON MANNING’S NECK SURGERY WITH DR. RIAZ
By Jaboner Jackson 8 am | I have investigated Peyton Manning’s neck injury three times with our team medical expert, Hassan A. Riaz, MD, MBA, over the past two months, the last time being three days ago when Dr. Riaz expressed doubt that Manning would return to play for the 2011 NFL season. Even two months ago, he was concerned. I caught up with Dr. Riaz one final time this morning over the phone to review Manning’s neck surgery from yesterday. Like always, Dr. Riaz is not treating the player being discussed and is relying upon publically available information to form his opinions.

TAKING ANOTHER LOOK AT PEYTON MANNING’S NECK INJURY WITH DR. RIAZ
By Jaboner Jackson 8 am | I’ve reviewed Peyton Manning’s neck injury and surgery with our team medical expert, Hassan A. Riaz, MD, MBA, twice already over the past two months. Dr. Riaz was pessimistic in both of our discussions. The Colts confirmed this weekend that Manning has been soliciting additional medical opinions regarding his neck injury and that he will not play in Week 1. Reports out of Indy have suggested that Manning will miss the first few weeks at least, which is consistent with what Dr. Riaz said a couple of weeks ago. I caught up with Dr. Riaz over the phone to hash out the latest developments. As always, Dr. Riaz is not treating the player being discussed and is relying upon publically available information to form his opinions.

By Jaboner Jackson 1030 am | The Houston Texans are constantly bridesmaids to the Indianapolis Colts and 2011 will be no different. The Texans have a strong offensive unit and decent coaching but they are still only the second best looking gal at the wedding. Until proven otherwise, the Colts remain the class of the AFC South.
