Halloween parties, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza and Festivus all mean that we’re all going to inevitably be putting on a couple extra unwanted holiday pounds . I know I want to keep my bikini body and the only way that is going to happen is to know your girls!
Who are the “girls?” The girls are the named CrossFit workouts. They are Annie, Angie, Barbara, Chelsea, Cindy (I HATE Cindy!), Diane, Elizabeth, Fran, Frelen, Grace, Helen, Isabel, Jackie, Karen, Kelly, Linda, Lynne, Mary, Nancy and Nicole. Throughout the Winter I’ll post all of the girl WOD because together they will whip us all into beach body shape by the time beach weather comes back around in May/June. After all, CrossFit has been turning 7s into 10s for years
If you don’t have Double Unders then double up on single rope turns. Be sure to record your time because we’re looking to set personal records every time we hit the box. Also remember to stretch before AND after your WOD. This will help prevent injuries and muscle fatigue. If you’re not sure what Double Unders or sit ups look like then check out this clip of Annie.
