NAME THE PEC
By Rock Mayock 10:00 a.m. | Since college football will be kicking off in approximately 8 weeks the overall level of energy is picking up at the FOOTBALLPHDS’ office. Before we get to the September 1 kickoff to the season we still need to power through the dog days of summer. That means there will be more excruciatingly painful installments of Name the… to fill our weeks. So gird your loins and brace yourselves.
The month of August will be a free of themes. The first featured item will be this once impressive right pec. Without assistance it will be nearly unidentifiable but as usual, the FOOTBALLPHDS are here to help. Here are a couple of hints:
1. This individual enjoyed a remarkable 19 year career playing professional sports however his post retirement career has been less than remarkable.
2. This individual is equally recognizable for his off the field antics as his on the field antics.
3. He banged Madonna when she was hot.
If you know who the pec belongs to then follow these simple steps. Send me your best and final answer either by e-mail, rock@footballphds.com, or you can include your e-mail address in your comment to this post. The first person to submit correct answer wins a prize from Cousin Felipe’s bag of fun. As always we will only accept one answer per person per week and there are no take backs. All answers must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Both owner of the pec and the winner will be named on Friday.
Good luck.

Looks like a plastic pec. So it’s either a Ken doll or A Rod

It has to be Jose Canseco:
-he’s a retired former MLB player (check).
-he banged Madonna in the early ’90s when she was still sexy (check).
-he’s become notorious in his post-playing years for his own steroid admissions, for snitching on other MLB players’ alleged steroid usage, and for getting his arse pummeled in an MMA fight against Choi Hong-man (check mate).
The only discrepancy is that Canseco actually played 17 (not 19) years in the Major Leagues, so I guess you’re also counting his minor league seasons or his post-MLB stints in independent baseball leagues.

If it is Canseco you missed one extra detail: Dude file for bankruptcy in Nevada today. $21K in assets and $1.7 million in liabilities. How much HGH did that dude buy?
