HUNKY ALERT! THE ROCK IS ON SWOLE PATROL FOR “PAIN AND GAIN”
By Rock Mayock 9:00 p.m. | Filed this under the category of “HOLY CRAP!” New pictures have hit the Internet of former WWF (the FOOTBALLPHDS refuse to call it WWE) superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as he prepares for his newest movie “Pain and Gain.”
The Rock will be starring opposite of punk ass Marky Mark Wahlberg as they portray a couple of steroid abusing body builders turned kidnappers/extortionists in what is sure to be another Michael Bay blockbuster. The movie also stars Ed Harris of The Abyss fame, Ken Jeong of The Hangover fame and Tony Shalhoub of Monk fame. Personally we don’t care who stars in the movie as long as The Rock is shirtless and on swole patrol.
For the sake of making this a football related post we’ll give you some trivia about The Rock. It’s a well known fact that The Rock, then Dwayne Johnson, played defensive end at the University of Miami and was part of their 1991 National Championship team. It’s a lesser known fact that Dwayne Johnson lost his starting position to future All-American and NFL All Pro Warren Sapp. It’s an even lesser known fact that The Rock’s cousin, Kaluka Maiava played OLB at USC and is currently on the Cleveland Browns roster. Kaluka’s little brother, Kai Maiava played at UCLA.

Dang. Wrestling used to be great. When the WWF had Stone Cold, The Rock, Nation of Domination, and DX it was a great TV watch. They all had mic skills and they could wrestle. WWE is unwatchable now. I miss the old school WWF.
