Bob Zarr Speaks: Raider Hater

Posted by Jaboner at 12:36 pm EST / 9:36 PST.   Since I’m out in Washington D.C. covering the CBA negotiations and messing around with my white iPhone 4, footballphds.com’s resident Kansas City Chiefs PhD had some thoughts to share.  Get to know Bob.  He is ultra-secretive and talks in code and short phrases.

Credentials: 1) Below freezing temperatures 5 months out of the year leaves plenty of time for research. 2) Well placed source inside the Chiefs organization with first hand knowledge of NFL/Chiefs locker room talk.

Seeing that the only true rivalry of the AFC West is between the KC Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders, it is my privilege to point out that the biggest bust in NFL history, JaMarcus Russell, had his $2.4 million mansion enter foreclosure proceedings.  After signing with the Raiders in 2007, the former #1 overall draft pick failed to pay his $195,512.05 mortgage payment. Seeing how the former #1 pick is currently unemployed and needs to make the payment in the next 3 months, his house is toast. Like JaMarcus Russell's inability to lead a 100 yard touchdown drive, there is no way he is leading this situation anywhere other than foreclosure.

Note: Russell signed his original contract for $60 million in 2007 and won only 7 games in 3 years.  BUST.
